Protest of students against the decision to evacuate dormitories during the month of Ramadan

The deputy of education at the University of Tehran said that one of the reasons for the closure of dormitories from 25th of Esfand to 7th of Ordibehesht is the coincidence with the month of Ramadan and the existing problems with students’ return tickets after the Nowruz holidays.

Meanwhile, student guild councils across the country reported that Alireza Vojahi, the deputy of student affairs at the University of Tehran, told students during a protest gathering on Monday evening in the university campus that the reason for announcing the closure of dormitories for more than a month and the suspension of in-person education is the lack of necessary budget for university administration.
