The foreign ministers of Iran and Russia will meet soon in Moscow.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, tweeted that he will meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, in the near future.
Earlier, Russian media reported that the two ministers are scheduled to meet each other on March 29th. In recent years, Iran and Russia have had close cooperation. Western countries have accused Iran of arming Moscow in the war with Ukraine, but Iran denies these allegations.
Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, has played a major role in Iran’s recent foreign meetings. This has led to criticisms of the performance and role of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, Iran’s Foreign Minister responded by stating that there is coordination in foreign policy and everything is within the framework of the system and under the supervision of the President. The enemies should know that there is no difference.
