602 People Visited Healthcare Centers in Khuzestan
Simultaneously with widespread protests by citizens in various cities regarding air pollution, 602 people visited healthcare centers in Khuzestan province.
In Ahvaz, Habib Haiber, the deputy director of medical treatment at the city’s University of Medical Sciences, announced that in the past 24 hours, 602 people visited healthcare centers due to air pollution, with 80 being admitted to regular wards.
The air quality in industrial cities, including Arak and Qazvin, has also been declared unhealthy.
Meanwhile, Hamed Yazdi Mehr, the director general of crisis management in Tehran province, reported that the crisis management alert is ongoing and urged people to avoid unnecessary travel.
He announced that emergency forces are stationed in high-traffic areas of the capital, and citizens experiencing shortness of breath, headaches, dizziness, and nausea can seek assistance from emergency personnel.
