The first session of the Ekbatan Complex case was held

While part of the case known as the Ekbatan Complex is being pursued in Criminal Court One, the first session of this case was held in the Revolutionary Court on Tuesday, the first of Esfand.

According to Hrana, this session was held in Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Abolqasem Salavati, with the presence of eight defendants.

These eight protesters, who were arrested last year, include Milad Armon, Alireza Kafaei, Amir Mohammad Khoshaqbal, Alireza Barmarz Pournak, Mohammad Mehdi Hosseini, Hossein Nemati, Mehdi Imani, and Navid Najaran.

According to Hrana, in this session, after the reading of the indictment, the defendants were asked to present their defenses regarding their charges, which include accusations such as waging war against God, assembly and collusion, insulting the leadership, propaganda against the regime, and membership in opposition groups and factions.

In November last year, during the Woman, Life, Freedom protests, a Basij force member named Arman Aliwardi was killed in the Ekbatan Complex in northwest Tehran, and following this, security forces arrested 50 young residents of this complex.
