On the verge of the fourth round of nuclear negotiations, Ali Larijani met with the Italian ambassador in Tehran.
Ali Larijani, advisor to the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Paola Amadei, the Italian ambassador in Tehran, on Wednesday.
This meeting took place as the fourth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States is set to be held on Saturday in Rome, the capital of Italy.
Additionally, the Iranian negotiating team is scheduled to meet with representatives from France, Britain, and Germany, known as the European Troika, in Rome on Friday.
The French Foreign Minister said on Monday evening after the Security Council meeting in New York that the Islamic Republic of Iran is closer than ever to acquiring nuclear weapons and threatened that the European Troika will not hesitate even for a moment to activate the snapback mechanism and reinstate sanctions if they perceive a threat from the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.
