Medvedev called for the deployment of missiles 100 miles from America

According to Business Insider, Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, reacted to a video from the US Embassy where it is stated in Russian that Russian citizens do not deserve President Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine. He said the main New Year’s gift is the Zircon missiles that we have sent to the shores of NATO countries.

He later called for the deployment of missiles 100 miles from America and near the Potomac River.

Hypersonic missiles are extremely fast and can travel distances at unexpected speeds, making them difficult to intercept with older air defense systems. The range of Zircon missiles is 310 to 620 miles.

On Wednesday, Russia announced that it had sent its warship Admiral Gorshkov equipped with Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles on a long journey passing through the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea.
