A new appointment in the controversial circle of managers from astronomical properties to the board of directors of Vati

Mahmoud Shayan, the controversial CEO of the Bank of Industry and Mines, whose management record in the National and Housing Banks has been criticized by experts and banking activists for years, has now made a thought-provoking decision by appointing Abuzar Mokhtari, the dismissed and controversial director of the Tehran Municipality’s Real Estate Organization, to the board of directors of the Atieh Damavand Investment Group (Vati).

An appointment that has raised the question for many of whether the selection circle for managers in the country has become so limited that controversial figures with ambiguous records are still being passed around management positions.

In recent years, Abuzar Mokhtari has always been at the center of controversies due to his name being mentioned in the astronomical properties case and extensive ambiguities regarding his multi-thousand-billion wealth. Controversies that apparently have not only not been an obstacle to his managerial path but have now provided him with a new platform.
