The US dollar reached its highest level in the past 262 days

The price of each US dollar in the noon trading session on Thursday in the Tehran free market reached 54,250 tomans (542,500 rials), which is the highest rate recorded since May 3, 262 days ago.

The Wednesday trading session in the Tehran currency market ended with the dollar rate at 53,200 tomans, which was 1,050 tomans lower than the noon trading rate on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the price of each euro also increased by 1,150 tomans, reaching 59,050 tomans during the noon trading session on Thursday.

The free market rate of the US dollar in Tehran has risen by 4,400 tomans over the past 28 days, and the price of each euro has increased by 4,800 tomans.

The simultaneous increase in the global gold price and the dollar rate in the Tehran market caused the price of each full gold coin to rise by 165,000 tomans, reaching 32,510,000 tomans.

The price of each ounce of gold also increased by 7 dollars and 21 cents during today’s trading, reaching 2,012 dollars and 12 cents.
