Arrest of the shooters in Daniyal village, Mazandaran province
The Chief Justice of Mazandaran province has issued a detention order and the members of the Islamic Council and the village headman of Daniyal village, located in Salmanshahr city of Abbasabad county, have been arrested and taken to prison following an armed conflict resulting in murder. The shooters are also under the supervision of the law enforcement authorities.
This conflict stems from the status of the endowed lands in Daniyal village, which date back to approximately 70 years ago.
The Endowment Administration claims that about 930 hectares of the lands in the mentioned village have been considered as endowed properties and should be under the supervision of the specific trustee of the public endowment of Imamzadeh Daniyal.
