Mayor of Tehran: Installing cameras on the uniforms of Tehran’s city guards is for the protection of individuals

Alireza Zakani stated regarding the installation of cameras on the uniforms of Tehran’s city guards and wardens that this is aimed at organizing so that responsible bodies can have better control in various matters and the protection of individuals.

He clarified about the import of metro wagons and the disagreements between the municipality and the Ministry of Interior, stating that the employer for importing metro wagons is the Ministry of Interior, with 1,071 units being imported under two contracts. However, the disagreements were about the approval of the entry package from China, and there are no differences of opinion on this matter.

Zakani emphasized regarding the import of escalators and elevators from China that such a topic has never been raised, and there is production of elevators and escalators in Iran. However, last year, 60 escalators were purchased, and their installation will be completed within three months.
