Mehdi Bagheri, a member of parliament and an observer of the committee for determining instances of criminal content, stated that the intention of Instagram and WhatsApp operators in the country was to create insecurity and chaos.
Mehdi Bagheri, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and an observer of the committee for determining instances of computer-related criminal content, said in an interview with ISNA that the intention of Instagram and WhatsApp operators was to incite unrest, insecurity, and chaos in the country.
He added that the restrictions on Instagram and WhatsApp will continue.
He mentioned that people do not have restrictions on using the internet, but there are restrictions applied to the software Instagram and WhatsApp, which belong to the United States, and this is natural.
Mehdi Bagheri told ISNA news agency that as an Iranian citizen, he believes that if these two software have learned their lesson and want to operate legally in our country, they must first pay all the damages.
