Eva Green received one million dollars for a film that was never produced.

French actress Eva Green has received a one million dollar settlement after winning a legal case against a British film production company.

According to a contract she had with the company, Ms. Green was supposed to play the role of a soldier in a film called A Patriot, but the production of this film was completely cancelled.

Despite the cancellation, Ms. Green insisted on being paid her fee, but the film production company claimed that she herself was not willing to act in the film.

During the court session, several text messages were read out loud in which Ms. Green criticized one of the film producers, describing him as purely incompetent.
