Dalawar Najafi was dismissed due to corruption and Akbar Sadeghi was appointed as his successor.
Dalawar Najafi, the Deputy Minister for Producer Support in the Ministry of Industry, was dismissed from his position due to violating economic principles in the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
He was one of the most important managers during the Raisi government and was fired for economic corruption.
Dalawar Najafi, with the help of his manager Fathi Nia, took over the management of the Debesh Tea Factory and, by ousting the family and relatives of Akbar Rahimi, initiated widespread corruption.
One of his actions included signing a contract with a company named Arnoosh to buy tea at a price of 90,000 Tomans per kilogram, while 60 billion Tomans were paid from Debesh’s account to this company, and no one could see the tea.
The next corruption involved selling assets inside the Debesh factory, like generators, at a tenth of their price to his friends.
Fathi Nia is currently residing in the UK government and was one of the former managers of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
