Kayhan Newspaper: Abdolreza Kahani is Begging, They No Longer Make Films

Kayhan newspaper: Abdolreza Kahani is begging; these people no longer make films.

Kayhan wrote that a group of former filmmakers, who despite emigrating and living abroad have failed in their work, have started a new form of begging.

The interesting and humorous thing is that these individuals, who are fewer than the fingers on two hands, have named this gathering the Association of Independent Filmmakers of Iran. This is while most of them have not made films for years after emigrating from Iran.

Most of these individuals are even unfamiliar to professional cinema enthusiasts, and some, like Abdolreza Kahani, emigrated after a few weak and unpopular films to find success, but mostly faced failure.
