Hassan Shariatmadari: I wish the military and security officials and policymakers of our country would answer these two questions. First, which global model do they follow in confronting riots? And if they have their own specific model, from which religious beliefs and national and experiential assets has this specific model been adopted and derived?
Where in the world do they send unarmed forces to confront armed terrorists and allow a bunch of hired thugs, almost all of whom immediately regret their actions upon arrest, to riot and assault the lives, property, and honor of the people?
