Order from the Chief Justice of Tehran Province to investigate the hacking of Fars News Agency

Following the cyberattack on Fars News Agency and the release of a significant amount of personal information of journalists and staff of this organization, the Chief Justice of Tehran Province issued an order to the Tehran Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office to pursue the matter.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Ali Alghasi Mehr tasked the Tehran Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office with forming a specialized working group consisting of technical experts and relevant officers to investigate the dimensions of this issue.

The Chief Justice of Tehran Province also emphasized that if any negligence or fault by individuals is established, necessary legal actions should be taken.
