Revealing Corruption in Ahmadinejad’s Office

According to Iran Gate, recently information has been provided to the Iran Gate team indicating the existence of significant corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office located in the upscale area of Velenjak, Tehran. It is said that the corruption amounts to approximately 5 trillion Iranian Rials, and strange details about it have been made available to the Iran Gate editorial team.

The bizarre circumstances surrounding Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s recent trip to Guatemala have once again brought this prominent Iranian politician’s name into the media spotlight. Over the past year, amid the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ protests, he has not made the slightest comment. Now, more than a year after those days, he has packed his bags and headed to Guatemala, a country known as Israel’s main base in Latin America. Apparently, the country’s security agencies have also attempted to dissuade him from this trip.

Simultaneously with these events, documents of corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office in Tehran have been provided to the Iran Gate editorial team. Information shows that he is currently not only using a super-luxurious property in Tehran for free, but he has also rented part of this property to a profitable business. This report delves into the details of this case.

What is the Velenjak Office Story?

According to previously published information, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been based in an office located in the Velenjak neighborhood of Tehran since 2014. It is unclear what activities he defines in this office, but it is heard that individuals like Mashaei, Baghai, and Javanfekr frequent this office.

This property, a 3,000 square meter villa, has been made available to Ahmadinejad and his team without the slightest payment over the past 10 years. Abdolreza Davari, Ahmadinejad’s former media advisor, mentions the existence of a fictitious lease for this property, but Iran Gate’s information indicates that this property belongs to the Foundation of the Oppressed, and over the past decade, not a single Rial has been received from Ahmadinejad for rent, and the lease is essentially just a piece of paper.

However, Parviz Fattah, the head of the Foundation of the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution, announced Ahmadinejad’s presence in this property in August 2020. He claimed in a live television program that the former president of Iran and his team would soon move to a building in the southern part of Tehran.

But Parviz Fattah’s statements were not only incorrect but also contained misleading information. He stated that this property was 1,800 meters and would soon be vacated by Ahmadinejad and his companions, while the Velenjak property is 3,000 meters, and despite more than three years passing since those statements, this property is still in Ahmadinejad’s possession.

Location of Ahmadinejad’s Super-Luxurious Office

The property in Ahmadinejad’s possession is located at Velenjak, Mahmoudieh neighborhood, Moqaddas Ardabili Street, Shadaour Street, East 8th Alley, No. 6. The phone number of this office is also registered on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s official website as 02122017818. The exact location of this property is shown in the image below. It is worth noting that this 3,000 square meter property, if calculated at the current house price in Velenjak, is worth more than 5,500 billion Iranian Rials.

Corruption in Mahmoud’s Office

Recently, information from this office has been provided to Iran Gate indicating ongoing billion-level corruption. As mentioned, this 5,500 billion Rial office belongs to the Foundation of the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution and has been made available to Ahmadinejad for free without any cost.

But it doesn’t end there; recently, it has been seen that a home-cooked meal catering business has started operating in part of this complex. Iran Gate has discovered that this catering pays a monthly rent of over 35 billion Iranian Rials to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office. Considering the rental rates in this area of Tehran, it can be said that this property has been rented to the mentioned catering below market price. But the more important point is that Ahmadinejad’s office has seized this rent without paying a single Rial to the Foundation of the Oppressed.

This is while Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is legally a tenant in the Velenjak property in Tehran and does not have the right to lease it to a third party. However, it is said that this action has been carried out legally and by the Foundation of the Oppressed, but the rent amount has been made available to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office without any restrictions. This action, which took place after the rise of Ebrahim Raisi’s government, is actually part of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s billion-level reward paid for his support of him.
