Warning for Iran: Europe declares Russia a state sponsor of terrorism
On Wednesday, the European Parliament passed a resolution with overwhelming support from its members, declaring Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. This official announcement was made relying on the general support of Europeans, despite opposition from some of Putin’s allies in the European Union, particularly Hungary.
The European Parliament condemned Russia for its aggression against another country, the crimes committed in Ukraine, the sacrifice of countless civilians, and the destruction of vital Ukrainian infrastructure. The European Union and the Parliament follow a specific and special procedure for such a declaration, and it should be noted that Iran’s regime, due to its involvement in the aggression against Ukraine, is at serious risk of facing a similar fate and its serious consequences.
